About the Author

Kerry Moran, M. A., LPC, is a Buddhist-oriented psychotherapist with a private practice in Portland, Oregon. She works nationally and internationally with clients by phone. For more information on her practice, visit her website at www.innerintegrity.com

Kerry's first career (she refers to it as a 'past life') was as a freelance journalist and writer based in Asia -- primarily Kathmandu, Nepal, where she lived from 1985 to 1998. She is the author of six books on Nepal, Tibet, and Hong Kong. Her current interests include exploring and navigating the wilds of the psyche.

In her work as a therapist she seeks to integrate the psychologically sophisticated insights of Tibetan Buddhism within the framework of Western depth psychology. She 's been a Buddhist practitioner for more than 20 years in the Kagyu/Nyingma tradition.
